Deepak Mishra received his B.Tech. degree in Electronics Communication Engineering from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU), New Delhi, India, in 2012, and his Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi (IIT Delhi) in 2017. He is a Senior Lecturer at the School of Electrical Engineering and Telecommunications at the University of New South Wales (UNSW) Sydney, Australia. Before this, he was a Postdoctoral Researcher at Linköping University (LiU) in Sweden from August 2017 to July 2019, where he focused on communication systems and 5G wireless technologies. His research interests include energy harvesting, cooperative communication networks, massive MIMO, backscattering, physical layer security, and signal processing for energy optimization. Dr. Mishra has served as an Associate Editor for several high-impact journals, including IEEE Transactions on Green Communications and Networking, IEEE Transactions on Intelligent Vehicles, and IEEE Wireless Communications Letters. He has also been an active member of the technical program committees for leading international conferences. He has received several awards, including the IBM PhD Fellowship Award (2016), Raman Charpak Fellowship (2017), Endeavour Research Fellowship (2018), and the Australian Research Council Discovery Early Career Researcher Award (2022).
