Biography

Deepti Chatti is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Urban Studies and Planning and serves as core faculty in the Critical Gender Studies Program at the University of California San Diego. With a background as an engineer turned ethnographer, Dr. Chatti incorporates interdisciplinary training from the social sciences, humanities, natural sciences, and engineering to tackle pressing socio-environmental issues related to sustainable development, energy access, climate change, and gender justice.
