Biography

Denis Martin serves as an Assistant Professor in Music Technology at the University of Toronto. He has previously taught at York University, McGill University, and the State University of New York in Potsdam. His research focuses on sound perception, critical listening, audio system evaluation, and equity, diversity, and inclusion within audio research and education. He specializes as an audio engineer in recording contemporary classical music and mixing and mastering various genres including R&B, Indie, Jazz, Folk, Rock, and crossover genres.
