Denis Roy is a specialist in community medicine and holds a Harkness Fellowship from the Commonwealth Fund in health policy. Throughout his career, Roy has held leadership positions at the Montérégie Health and Social Services Agency, the Ministry of Health and Social Services, and the Public Health Directorate of Montreal-Centre.
