Biography

Prof. Deniz Kus is a prominent figure in the field of Representation Theory, focusing on various areas including number theory, algebraic geometry, graph theory, and algebraic combinatorics. Following his doctorate, he held postdoctoral positions at the University of Cologne, University of Bonn, and the Centre de recherches mathématiques, alongside research stays in California, Montréal, Paris, and Providence. He transitioned to an assistant professorship at Ruhr-University Bochum before being appointed to his current role as a professor of Representation Theory at the Technical University of Munich in 2025.
