Biography

Derek Green is a lecturer at Yale University and the director of the Creative Writing M.F.A program. He earned his A.B. in English Language and Literature and M.F.A in Creative Writing from the University of Michigan. An accomplished author, Green has published a collection of linked stories titled 'New World Order' and non-fiction works addressing topics such as industrial farming, trauma surgery, national politics, and international warfare. His interests encompass various forms of writing including fiction, screenwriting, travel writing, and essay writing, alongside tutoring and mentoring aspiring writers.
