Biography

Derk Willem Frederik Brilman is a Full Professor at the University of Twente specializing in Chemical Engineering. He completed his PhD in 1998, focusing on Mass Transfer in Chemical Reaction Gas-Liquid-Liquid systems. His research interests are centered around the conversion of biomass into fuels and chemicals, as well as CO2 capture and multiphase reaction technology.
