Biography

Dermot Cavanagh joined the University of Edinburgh's School of Literatures, Languages and Cultures in 2003, having previously taught at Northumbria University and the University of Exeter. He has written extensively on early modern literature, with a particular focus on Shakespeare and Renaissance theatre. His principal research interest lies in early modern political drama.
