Biography

Dermot Groome is a former national and international prosecutor who teaches and researches human rights and international criminal law. He began his career at the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office, where he worked in the Sex Crimes Unit and prosecuted several cases. Additionally, Groome has authored several publications, including works related to human rights investigations and international law, and has been featured in various media for his impact on war crimes prosecution. Currently, he oversees the International Justice Program at Dickinson Law and has played a part in initiating an international trial advocacy program for foreign lawyers.
