Dev Gangjee is a Professor of Intellectual Property Law at the Faculty of Law, and a Fellow at St Hilda's College. Before joining Oxford, he was a senior lecturer at the London School of Economics. He is a graduate of the National Law School of India and Oxford, where he was a Rhodes Scholar. His research focuses on Intellectual Property (IP) with a particular emphasis on Branding, Trade Marks, Geographical Indications, and Copyright law. Dev has acted in an advisory capacity for national governments, law firms, and international organisations including the European Commission on IP issues. Dev has served as a visiting professor at the Munich Intellectual Property Law Centre and held visiting fellowships at several institutions, including the Institute of Intellectual Property in Tokyo, IP Research Institute of Australia, Hong Kong University, National University of Singapore, and the University of Berne. He currently serves as the Director of the Oxford IP Research Centre (OIPRC) and is on the editorial boards of the Modern Law Review and the Queen Mary Journal of Intellectual Property.
