Dev Mishra received his Ph.D. in Finance from the University of Connecticut and his MBA in Finance from the Kelly School of Business at Indiana University - Bloomington. He has been with the Edwards School of Business since 2005, becoming a Full Professor in 2012 and serving as Department Head of Finance & Management Science from July 2013 to June 2018. He holds the Edwards Enhancement Chair and has contributed significantly to the field of corporate finance and international corporate finance. His research has been published in several prestigious journals, including the Journal of International Business Studies, Journal of Corporate Finance, and the Journal of Banking and Finance. Mishra has presented numerous referred conference papers and served on program committees for major financial associations. He has received several awards, including the Dean’s Award for Outstanding Research Achievement from the Edwards School of Business and the Moskowitz Prize for Socially Responsible Investing from the Haas School of Business, University of California Berkeley. His current research interests include corporate finance, corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, and the social responsibility of corporations.
