Biography

Deva Wells is an Acting Assistant Professor in the Department of Dermatology at the University of Washington and an attending dermatologist at the VA Puget Sound Health Care System. A proud Seattle native, Dr. Wells earned her MD from the University of Washington School of Medicine in 2015. She completed her Internal Medicine residency at the same institution, where she served as Chief Medical Resident. Following this, she completed her dermatology residency at the University of Washington's Department of Dermatology, serving as a Co-Chief Resident. Dr. Wells is passionate about teaching medical students and residents from multidisciplinary backgrounds. Her scholarly interests encompass soft tissue infections, applications of teledermatology, and the intersection of medical ethics. Beyond her academic work, she enjoys exploring the city with family, playing tennis, and pursuing artistic endeavors such as watercolor painting.
