Biography

Devjanee (Devi) Swain Lenz has 15 years of experimental and computational experience in genomics research. She earned her Ph.D. in Molecular Genetics and Genomics from Washington University in St. Louis, and completed her postdoctoral research at Duke University. Her research interests focus on understanding how cis-regulatory variation contributes to phenotypic differences between species. She has held multiple leadership roles in nonprofit organizations with an emphasis on increasing and maintaining diversity, equity, and inclusion within STEM-related fields. Additionally, she is interested in working with the Sequencing and Genomics Technologies Core Facility at Duke University to provide consultations and information related to genomics technologies.
