Biography

Dharmendra Saraswat is a professor in the Department of Agricultural and Biological Engineering at Purdue University. Saraswat’s expertise encompasses watershed simulation modeling, spatial-temporal modeling, and the use of innovative unmanned aerial systems (UAS)-based sensors for data collection and analysis. His contributions to research and extension have been recognized both nationally and internationally, and he has received numerous awards, including Fellow of the Indian Society of Agricultural Engineers (2014) and the John W. White Outstanding Extension State Faculty Award (2014).
