Dr. Di Liang

Biography

Di Liang is an Assistant Teaching Professor in Applied Linguistics at Penn State University. He serves as the Interim Director of the Intensive English Communication Program (IECP). He has taught various English courses such as Academic English, TOEFL, IELTS, and SAT preparation both in China and the U.S. Di's experience includes roles as an instructor, teacher educator, researcher, and student teacher supervisor within the College of Education at Penn State. He has taught undergraduate-level Chinese language classes at the University of Pittsburgh. His current research interests focus on the intersection of language education, teacher education, and social justice. Di has presented his work at various conferences, including the American Association for Applied Linguistics and the American Educational Research Association. He is actively involved in curriculum development and education practices aimed at supporting language teachers globally.
