Dr. Diana Atashroo

Biography

Diana Atashroo is a Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Stanford University. She is affiliated with Stanford Hospital and NorthShore University HealthSystem in Illinois. Dr. Atashroo specializes in general gynecology, addressing a variety of complex gynecologic issues. Her expertise includes evaluating and managing complex pelvic pathology and pelvic pain. She has special interests in conditions such as pudendal neuralgia, peripheral neuropathic pain, pelvic floor muscle spasms, vulvodynia, pelvic congestion syndrome, endometriosis, and interstitial cystitis. Dr. Atashroo performs minimally-invasive gynecologic surgeries and laparoscopic robotic procedures. She is skilled in ultrasound-guided peripheral nerve blocks, office procedures, and Botox trigger point injections. Committed to improving the well-being of women, she emphasizes a personalized and comprehensive approach to patient care.
