Dr. Diana Biggs

Biography

Diana Biggs is a Partner at the crypto venture firm 1kx, where she leads institutional connectivity with over 90 portfolio projects. She serves as a Board Member at Kiln HIVE Digital Technologies in Switzerland. Previously, Diana held the position of Chief Strategy Officer at Valour, where she was involved in launching a crypto ETP business with $300 million in assets under management. Her career includes significant roles such as Global Head of Innovation at HSBC Private Banking, and Vice President, Head of Growth & Partnerships for EMEA at Uphold. Diana also worked as a Chief Strategy Officer at the social enterprise Soko and began her career as a management consultant at Oliver Wyman in Financial Services. Her writing on innovation in financial services has been featured in outlets such as Sifted, the Huffington Post, the World Economic Forum, and Springer Publishing's 'Banking Banks' Journal in Digital Banking. In academia, she is a guest lecturer on blockchain and digital assets as part of the Fintech elective in both MBA and Executive MBA programmes, and previously served as a mentor in the Creative Destruction Lab at Oxford’s Fintech stream, as well as Head Tutor for the Oxford Blockchain Strategy Programme.
