Dr. Diana Ingenhoff

Biography

Diana Ingenhoff is a full professor specializing in organizational communication and public diplomacy at the University of Fribourg. She earned her Ph.D. in management from the University of St. Gallen. Her professional background includes serving as a Research Fellow at the Center for Public Diplomacy at the Annenberg School, University of Southern California. Diana has played a pivotal role as the founding chair of the International Communication Association’s Public Diplomacy Interest Group and has held positions such as honorary member of the Swiss Association for Communication and Media Research and Vice Dean of the Faculty of Management, Economics, and Social Sciences. She has also been the Executive Director of the European Public Relations Education and Research Association from 2016 to 2022. Diana's research primarily focuses on the impacts of digitization and algorithms on organizations and countries, reputation measurement, and responsibility communication, leveraging quantitative research methods and multi-method designs. Her work has been published in prominent journals including the Journal of Business Ethics and International Journal of Strategic Communication, among others. She is actively involved in editorial boards and has received recognition for her research across multiple platforms. Diana has also had visiting professorships at institutions in countries including New Zealand, Australia, and the USA.
