Biography

Dr. Diane Alleva Cáceres teaches International Business and the MBA International Practicum - Australia at the Scheller College of Business. She also teaches courses in the Sam Nunn School of International Affairs. She earned her PhD in International Affairs and Science and Technology, and received a B.A. in Economics and an M.A. in Government (International Trade Policy) from the College of William and Mary in Virginia. Dr. Alleva Cáceres is the President and CEO of the World Trade Center Atlanta and the CEO of Market Access International, Inc., a consulting practice founded in 1997 that focuses on international trade and investment. With 25 years of consulting experience, she has worked with CEOs and government agencies on industry and innovation studies, global value chain analysis, and market entry strategies. Her expertise spans a variety of industries including advanced manufacturing, agribusiness, life sciences, ocean technology, and fintech. Currently, she is working on a book manuscript titled “Constructing Science-Based Industries: Global Shocks and Social Learning”. Dr. Alleva Cáceres has held leadership positions at several organizations and is an expert in international trade and foreign direct investment (FDI) innovation. She is a member of several academic and leadership organizations including the Council on Foreign Relations and the International Women’s Forum.
