Diederik van Dijk is a Full Professor and a distinguished epidemiologist and anaesthesiologist-intensivist at UMC Utrecht. His research is primarily focused on the outcomes of cardiac surgery and the implications of intensive care admissions. He has multiple publications in leading medical journals including the New England Journal of Medicine, JAMA, Circulation, and Anesthesiology.
