Dr. Diego Coraiola

Biography

Diego M. Coraiola is a Professor of Entrepreneurship at the Peter B. Gustavson School of Business, University of Victoria, Canada, and a Senior Research Fellow at IAE Business School, Argentina. His research emphasizes collective action and social change, utilizing cultural historical approaches to analyze how managers and entrepreneurs leverage symbolic resources to create, perpetuate, and transform organizations, markets, and institutions. His current research projects focus on memory work and the strategic uses of the past, especially concerning historical injustices and Indigenous organizing. His publications appear in prominent journals such as the Academy of Management Annals, Strategic Management Journal, and Organization Studies, covering various aspects of management and organizational studies. Coraiola's teaching interests span entrepreneurship, organization theory, and strategy, and he has experience teaching both undergraduate and graduate students in Canada and Brazil. He currently serves as an Associate Editor for the Academy of Management Learning and Education and as a member of the editorial boards for Organization Studies and Academy Management Perspectives.
