Dr. Diego Donzis

Biography

Diego Donzis is a Professor and the Associate Department Head for Research in the Department of Aerospace Engineering at Texas A&M University. He holds a Ph.D. from the Georgia Institute of Technology and has extensive expertise in computational fluid dynamics, high-performance computing, turbulence, and hypersonics. His research work encompasses various aspects of fluid dynamics, including turbulent mixing and aero-optics. Donzis is widely recognized for his contributions to understanding atmospheric propagation of lasers and has a prominent presence in academia through his research publications and contributions to various engineering conferences. He has received several accolades for his academic achievements and is also involved in mentoring the next generation of engineers in the field. His role as the Anne David Dunlap '83 Engineering Excellence Professor highlights his commitment to excellence in engineering education and research.
