Biography

Dietrich von Rosen is a visiting professor in Mathematical Statistics at Linköping University and has been a professor at the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences since 1998. He has served as an adjoint professor at Linköping University from 2009 to 2024 and will formally retire from SLU in 2024, remaining affiliated with Linköping University. He has also worked at the Karolinska Institute in Stockholm for over six years. His research focuses on linear models, multivariate analysis, bilinear models, high-dimensional analysis, and matrix algebra. With over 130 peer-reviewed articles to his name, he has supervised 19 Ph.D. students. His notable publications include 'Advanced Multivariate Statistics Matrices' and 'Bilinear Regression Analysis, Introduction'. He has served as the editor-in-chief of the Journal of Multivariate Analysis and has organized numerous international conferences and workshops. In recognition of his contributions, he was awarded an Honorary Doctorate from Tartu University, Estonia in 2014 and will serve as a Distinguished Adjunct Professor at Beijing Normal University - Hong Kong Baptist University from 2025 to 2028. He holds several editorial positions and is actively involved in international scientific committees.
