Biography

Difei Deng is a Research Fellow at the University of New South Wales (UNSW) Canberra in the School of Science, having joined in 2016 as a postdoctoral researcher. His research focuses on tropical cyclones and extreme weather events. Difei became an ARC Discovery Early Career Researcher Award Fellow in 2020, and he is associated with the ARC Center of Excellence for Climate Extremes and the Bushfire Research Group at UNSW Canberra.
