Biography

In 2014, Dileepa completed a Bachelor of Science in Engineering (BSc Eng) with a specialization in Computer Science Engineering from the University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka. He obtained his PhD in Computer Science from the National University of Singapore in 2020, focusing on utilizing model checking to ensure game theory security in probabilistic protocols. After completing his PhD, Dileepa transitioned to an academic role as a lecturer at the Sri Lanka Technological Campus, where he delivered courses related to cybersecurity and data science, while also supervising student research across diverse areas. Driven by a passion for teaching and mentoring students, Dileepa took on a new role as a lecturer at Singapore University of Technology and Design in 2023, contributing to the ISTD pillar. His research interests stem from formal verification and game theory, having expanded to include cybersecurity, natural language processing, and computer vision applications. Outside academia, Dileepa enjoys singing, playing the guitar, and is a long-distance runner, having completed a half marathon in 2023.
