Biography

Dilek Ulutas Duman has been working in academia since 2012, conducting research projects and teaching both architecture and construction management courses. Her PhD research focused on exploring the history of strategic resources to create identity at the sectoral level, relating this to strategy-making at the individual level. She continues to work on applications of process practice approaches and narrative theory, particularly in understanding aspects of strategy-making in the built environment sector. Her research interests also include exploring digital transformation and disruption, and the prevailing narratives currently shaping the construction sector.
