Professor Dr. Dima Alhadidi

Biography

Dima Alhadidi is an Associate Professor in the School of Computer Science at the University of Windsor. He obtained his PhD in Computer Science with a focus on Software Engineering from Concordia University in Montreal, Canada in 2010. His research interests are primarily in the areas of Cybersecurity, Machine Learning, Health Informatics, Cloud Computing, and Smart Grid technologies. Dima is actively involved in the academic community, bringing expertise in applying machine learning techniques to enhance cybersecurity measures in various applications. He has contributed to several projects that aim to improve the efficiency and security of health informatics systems and has been an advocate for integrating smart grid solutions within the energy sector. As a member of the Women in Cyber Security (WiCyS) initiative, he promotes diversity and inclusion in technology fields. Dima also engages with students through various courses related to his research areas, fostering a new generation of computer scientists.
