Dimitra Achillopoulou is a Lecturer in Structural Design at the James Watt School of Engineering, University of Glasgow. She has contributed to numerous international projects and has authored 45 scientific publications in peer-reviewed journals and conferences. Dimitra is an active member of the Smart Infrastructure Group, serves as the BEng Civil Engineering Discipline Coordinator, and is the EDI Champion for Civil Engineering at the University of Glasgow. She leads TG4: Digitalisation at the International Institute for FRP Construction and is a founding member of the International Association for Multidisciplinary Resilience.
