Biography

Dimitri Michael Kullmann studied Physiological Sciences at Oxford University, where he obtained a DPhil under Julian Jack. He resumed clinical studies at St Thomas' Hospital in London and alternated research on synaptic transmission, including two years with Roger Nicoll at UC San Francisco. In 1992, he established his own laboratory at the Institute of Neurology. Kullmann served as an MRC Senior Clinical Fellow at UCL from 1997 to 2007 and held various positions at the Institute of Neurology and related institutions. His research primarily focuses on the mechanisms underlying epilepsy, synaptic transmission, and clinical neurology. He has been recognized with fellowships from the Royal College of Physicians and achieved his Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery from the University of London.
