Dimitrios Doukas joined the School of Law at the University of Manchester as a Reader in EU Law in September 2013. He previously worked as a Lecturer (2005-2011) and Senior Lecturer in European Law (2011-2013) at Queen’s University Belfast. He holds a law degree and an LLM in European & International Law with distinction from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in Greece. Dimitrios has held research fellowships with the German Academic Exchange Service and the Hellenic State Scholarships Foundation. He has been a visiting scholar and professor at several prestigious institutions and is fluent in Greek, English, French, German, and Italian. His research interests are focused on European Union Law, the EU Internal Market and Economic Law, and EU Media and Entertainment Law.
