Biography

Dimitrios Minos is a Senior Lecturer in the Economics Education department at King's Business School. His main research interests encompass development, health economics, and political economy. He specifically investigates the role of culture and social behavior on health and developmental political outcomes. Dimitrios earned his PhD in Economics from Georg-August-University Göttingen, Germany. He has previously served as a Teaching Fellow in the Department of Political Economy at King's College London and as a Research Associate at the Institute of Health and Society at Newcastle University. His consulting experience includes working with a variety of national and international organizations such as KfW, DFID, and the World Bank. In addition to his teaching duties, Dimitrios is interested in non-traditional forms of assessment and the effectiveness of innovative teaching methods. He is currently accepting new PhD students.
