Dr. Dina Ferdman

Biography

Dina Ferdman, MD, is an Associate Professor of Pediatrics at Yale School of Medicine, specializing in pediatric cardiology. Her clinical interests focus on the diagnosis and outpatient management of congenital heart disease, with a particular emphasis on fetal cardiology. Dr. Ferdman performs and interprets transthoracic, transesophageal, and fetal echocardiograms in various clinical settings. She joined the Section of Pediatric Cardiology in 2015 after completing her residency and chief residency in Pediatrics at Columbia University Medical Center, followed by a fellowship in Pediatric Cardiology at the same institution. As co-director of the Yale Fetal Care Center, she provides specialized care for pregnant women with unborn babies suspected of having heart defects, guiding them through diagnosis and care plans. She is deeply committed to her patients and their families, emphasizing preventive care, follow-up, and the resilience of children. Dr. Ferdman's clinical practice spans across several Yale Pediatric Specialty Centers, including locations in Trumbull and Greenwich, allowing her to serve a diverse patient population in Fairfield County.
