Biography

Dina Ghanma is a Teaching Assistant at UCL School of Management, specializing in Finance. She is also a Lecturer in Corporate Finance and Sustainable Finance at the ICMA Centre, Henley Business School, University of Reading. Dina supervises MSc Finance dissertations on a variety of topics such as Time Series Modelling, Green Finance, and Behavioural Finance. Since joining UCL in 2020, she has been involved in assessment teams for various modules including Mergers and Valuations, Corporate Financial Strategy, Hedge Fund Strategies, and Investment Management. She holds a BSc in Finance and Investment Banking, an MSc in Financial Research, and a PhD in Empirical ESG Finance from the ICMA Centre. In addition, Dina has previous teaching experience as a Sessional Lecturer at Northeastern University London and in multiple Associate Lecturer roles covering topics like Portfolio Management and Financial Econometrics. She has been nominated for multiple teaching awards, praised for her engagement and subject area expertise by both students and colleagues. Dina holds the CFA UK’s Investment Management Certificate and is pursuing CFA Charter, having passed CFA Level 1.
