Biography

Dina Francesca Haynes is the Executive Director of the Orville H. Schell, Jr. Center for International Human Rights and a Research Scholar at Yale Law School. With an extensive legal career, she has taught courses on constitutional law, public international law, and human rights, as well as specialized topics such as refugee law and migration. Haynes has published over 30 law review articles in prestigious journals, including the University of Pennsylvania Law Review and the International Criminal Law Review, and contributed chapters to notable edited volumes on women's rights and transitional justice. She holds a J.D. from the University of Cincinnati, an LL.M. from Georgetown University Law Center, and has been actively involved in policy advocacy concerning migration and gender issues.
