Professor Dr. Dina Schlossberg

Biography

Dina Schlossberg is a Lecturer at Penn Carey Law with over 20 years of experience in real estate law, focusing primarily on community development and economic development initiatives. She has represented both for-profit and nonprofit developers, institutional lenders, and community financial institutions in matters related to affordable housing, tax credit transactions, homeownership, and moderate-income housing initiatives. Her work also includes commercial economic development initiatives that involve the use of New Market Tax Credits and Historic Tax Credits. In addition to her legal practice, Dina has extensive experience working with nonprofit organizations on the application and maintenance of federal and state tax exemptions. Her commitment to community involvement is reflected in her role as a member of the Governing Committee of the American Bar Association’s Forum on Affordable Housing and Community Development Law, and as a board member of the Philadelphia-based Homeless Assistance Fund, Inc.
