Biography

Dinesh Singh, MD, is an Associate Professor of Urology at Yale School of Medicine and specializes in minimally invasive surgery for conditions such as kidney stones and prostate cancer. He earned his medical degree from Columbia University and completed his urology residency at Harvard Medical School. Dr. Singh is board-certified in Urology and has completed a fellowship in laparoscopic surgery at the Cleveland Clinic. With over 1,700 minimally invasive procedures performed, he continually trains in advanced surgical techniques and collaborates with top cancer care specialists at Yale Smilow Cancer Hospital. His research interests span minimally invasive surgery, urologic oncology, and kidney stone disease, focusing on active surveillance protocols for kidney cancer and reducing radiation exposure in patients with kidney stones. Throughout his career, Dr. Singh has put significant emphasis on enhancing patient outcomes, supporting faster recovery times and shorter hospital stays for urologic conditions.
