Biography

Ding Zhang is a Postdoctoral researcher in the Particles and Catalysis Research Group within the School of Chemical Engineering at the University of New South Wales. He is also a Trailblazer Recycling Clean Energy Enterprise Academic Fellow, a UNSW Early Career Academic Startup Fellow, and an Innovator in the Beanstalk Drought Venture Program. His research focuses on green chemical production, including hydrogen, peroxide, and ammonia, with an emphasis on cutting-edge electrocatalyst design and synthesis as well as electrolysis system design and scale-up for commercialization. As an emerging academic, Ding strives to innovate solutions for sustainable practices in the chemical engineering domain and contribute to the advancements in clean energy technologies.
