Biography

Diogo Barradas is an Assistant Professor at the Cheriton School of Computer Science, University of Waterloo. He obtained his Ph.D. in 2021, and his M.Sc. and B.Sc. degrees in 2016 and 2014, respectively, from the Instituto Superior Técnico at the Universidade de Lisboa, Portugal. His research interests include network traffic analysis, obfuscation, applications for internet censorship circumvention, and anonymous communication. He is also focused on security aspects related to programmable network infrastructures, including applications for network threat detection, mitigation, and recovery, as well as digital forensics and information hiding. He is actively engaged in the field, contributing to both teaching and research in computer science.
