Biography

Dirk Baur holds a Master's degree in Economics and received a Ph.D. in Financial Econometrics from the University of Tübingen in 2003. Currently, his projects include investigating gold's role as a high-quality liquid asset (HQLA) and its implications for risk mitigation and climate change. He has also held several senior academic roles throughout his career, contributing to various teaching and research initiatives.
