Biography

Divakaran Liginlal is a Teaching Professor in the Information Systems department at Carnegie Mellon University. His research interests encompass information security, human-computer interaction, and decision support systems, with publications in respected journals such as the Journal of Management Information Systems, Communications of the ACM, and IEEE Transactions. His teaching and research activities have been supported by prominent organizations including Microsoft Corporation, Hewlett Packard, and Cisco Systems. Prior to his academic career, he worked as a scientist with the Indian Space Research Organization and as a software developer in Saudi Arabia.
