Biography

Divya Mahajan is an Assistant Professor in the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology. She received her Ph.D. from Georgia Tech and her Master's from the University of Texas at Austin, following her Bachelor's degree from the Indian Institute of Technology Ropar, where she was awarded the President of India Gold Medal for being the top graduate. Prior to joining Georgia Tech, she was a Senior Researcher at Microsoft Azure starting in September 2019. Her research has been published in several top-tier venues including ISCA, HPCA, MICRO, ASPLOS, NeurIPS, and VLDB. Her dissertation was recognized with the NCWIT Collegiate Award in 2017 for its distinguished contributions to the field of High-Performance Computer Architecture, along with a Distinguished Paper Award at the 22nd IEEE Symposium on High-Performance Computer Architecture in 2016. Currently, she leads the Systems Infrastructure Architecture Research Lab at Georgia Tech, focusing on developing next-generation sustainable computing platforms for large-scale AI and machine learning applications, drawing insights from various disciplines such as computer architecture, systems, and databases.
