Biography

Divya Mahajan is an Assistant Professor in the School of Computer Science at the Georgia Institute of Technology. She received her Ph.D. from Georgia Tech and holds a Master’s degree from the University of Texas at Austin, along with a Bachelor’s degree from the Indian Institute of Technology Ropar, where she was awarded the Presidents Gold Medal, the highest academic honor among IITs. Before joining Georgia Tech, Divya was a Senior Researcher at Microsoft Azure starting in September 2019. Her research has been published in prominent venues including ISCA, HPCA, MICRO, ASPLOS, NeurIPS, and VLDB. Her dissertation was recognized with the NCWIT Collegiate Award in 2017 for a distinguished paper at HPCA in 2016. Currently, she leads the Systems Infrastructure Architecture Research Lab at Georgia Tech, focusing on developing next-generation sustainable compute platforms aimed at optimizing end-to-end data pipelines for large scale AI and machine learning applications. Her work integrates insights from a diverse array of disciplines within computer architecture, systems, and databases.
