Dmitri Berlinsky is a professor of violin at the Michigan State University College of Music, known for his exceptional talent and notable achievements in the world of classical music. He made headlines as the youngest winner in the history of the Paganini International Violin Competition in Genoa, Italy, a victory that led to performances on Nicolo Paganini’s own Guarneri del Gesú instrument, a privilege shared by only a select few artists. His accolades also include winning the Montreal International Violin Competition and notable appearances in major competitions such as the International Tchaikovsky Competition. Throughout his career, Berlinsky has performed with prestigious orchestras across Europe, Russia, the Far East, and North America in venues like Carnegie Hall, the Kennedy Center, and the Great Hall of the Moscow Conservatory.
