Biography

Dmitry Grishenkov is an Associate Professor at the Department of Biomedical Engineering Health Systems at KTH Royal Institute of Technology. His research primarily focuses on Contrast Enhanced Medical Imaging Therapy, emphasizing experimental and theoretical work concerning the characterization of structural and physical properties of multimodal contrast agents. He has initiated groundbreaking studies on the behavior of microbubbles in lab-on-chip and organ-on-chip setups and has experience in technology transfer, innovation, and commercialization. His work has led to the establishment of a spin-off company specializing in water purification and PFAS restudies. Grishenkov has been acknowledged by the Royal Swedish Academy of Engineering Sciences for his contributions, being included in a list of 100 projects deemed to have the greatest potential. He serves as the Programme Director for two academic programs at KTH involving innovative technology for healthy living and medical technology. His teaching includes various courses related to Biomedical Engineering and Medical Technology.
