Biography

Dmytro Pokhylko is an Adjunct Associate Professor in the Department of Biomedical Engineering at Columbia University, where he teaches the Lab-to-Market Life Science Accelerator course that focuses on commercialization of academic innovations. He is also the Director of Strategic Projects for the Lab-to-Market Accelerator Network, Columbia's technology transfer office. In this role, he provides strategic guidance to over 10 accelerators and academic teams across the life and physical sciences sectors. Under his leadership, the Lab-to-Market program has supported more than 500 academic teams with over $17 million in non-dilutive funding, leading to 100 commercial exits. Dmytro holds an MSc degree in Financial Engineering and a BA degree in International Business Marketing from Baruch College, CUNY.
