Biography

Dominic Ferrey, MD, is a board-certified neurophysiologist specializing in neuromuscular conditions, including amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), myasthenia gravis, chronic inflammatory demyelinating polyneuropathy (CIDP), and amyloid neuropathy muscle diseases. His research interests include ALS, electromyography (EMG), and neurophysiology. He completed his clinical neurophysiology/EMG fellowship at the UC San Diego School of Medicine and residency in neurology at the same institution. Dr. Ferrey earned his medical degree from the Ohio State University College of Medicine, where he also became board certified in neurology and clinical neurophysiology. He was recognized for his leadership as chief resident and received the Arnold P. Gold Foundation's Humanism in Medicine Excellence in Teaching Resident Award in Neurology. Additionally, he is fluent in both English and Spanish.
