Biography

Dominic completed his PhD in Mathematical Geomorphology at King's College London in June 2024 and joined the LEMONTREE project at the University of Reading as a postdoctoral researcher. In September 2025, he returned to King's College London as a Lecturer in Physical Geography and Spatial Data Science. Previously, Dominic delivered guest lectures on the UN Sustainable Development Goals related to ecological modeling and worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant in Environmental Data Analysis. His research focuses on Aeolian geomorphology, specifically the dynamics of barchan dunes, employing mathematical computational models to further understand these phenomena. Additionally, he has collected research experience in forest ecology and palaeoenvironmental science. His academic background includes a Master of Physics in Theoretical Physics from Durham University (2018) and a Master's degree in Non-Equilibrium Systems from King's College London (2019). Dominic has also been awarded the BSRG Early Career Grant by the British Sedimentological Research Group.
