Biography

Dominique Caouette is a Professor in the Department of Political Science at the University of Montreal and a researcher at the Centre for Asian Studies. His research focuses on the role of non-state actors in global politics, analyzing their influence on both national and international political dynamics. Caouette specializes in three main areas: 1) the political economy of natural resources in the Global South, 2) development and international cooperation, and 3) international and transnational relations in Southeast Asia, particularly the Philippines.
