Biography

Dominique Roberge has earned a master's degree in chemical engineering from Laval University in Quebec City, Canada, in 1996, and a doctoral degree from the University of Technology Aachen in Germany, focused on heterogeneous catalysis, in 2001. After completing his doctoral studies, he joined Lonza in 2001 as Laboratory Head, overseeing reaction engineering and safety assessment. He led a significant project on Microreactor Technology starting in 2003 and became Project Leader in July 2007. Roberge worked briefly as an Associate Professor at the University of Ottawa from August 2007 to July 2008 and has remained as an Adjunct Professor liaising with graduate students. Since rejoining Lonza in September 2008, he has focused on the development of Flow/Microreactor Technology and served as Group Manager for R&D in Chemical Manufacturing Technologies. His work includes roles in business development from 2009 to 2012, and he actively contributes to advancing innovative chemical manufacturing technologies.
