Biography

Donald J. Mabbott received his PhD in Developmental Psychology from the University of Alberta in 1998 and completed a Post-doctoral Fellowship in Pediatric Neuropsychology at the Hospital for Sick Children. He is a psychologist in the Pediatric Brain Tumour Program within the Division of Hematology/Oncology at the Hospital for Sick Children and serves as the program head and senior scientist at the Research Institute of the Hospital for Sick Children. His work primarily focuses on providing clinical neuropsychology services to children with brain tumours and their families, as well as leading a research program in developmental neuropsychology. His research interests include developmental neuropsychology, neuro-cognitive late effects of pediatric brain tumours, multi-modal neuro-imaging, and brain repair.
